Barron’s: Cypress Semi CEO’s $9.1 Million Sale

CYPRESS SEMICONDUCTOR’S (Ticker: CY) president and chief executive officer has good timing when it comes to buying and selling his company’s shares. But will his most recent sale conform to that pattern?

Thurman J. Rodgers sold 765,922 Cypress shares from Feb. 24 to 26 for $9.1 million or about $11.87 each. Rodgers, known as T.J., still owns more than 15 million shares in the company, or about 10% of Cypress’ outstanding shares.

A Cypress spokesman says the company does not comment on insider transactions.
