Possibly. Three insiders at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ANPI) reported their buying today. While it is great to see a consensus of action, it is also hard to get overly excited:
1. Jeffrey Gross is a new insider, so he might be contractually obligated to maintain a certain level of shares.
2. Although Jonathan Chen only bought $19K, he did increase his holdings by 89%.
3. Arthur Willms’ purchase looks a bit better with $48K and a 45% increase in holdings.
So what can we make of this? Just that the world does not appear to be black and white today or Messrs. Chen and Willms seem to be really excited about Mr. Gross joining their ranks. Still intriguing…
